Requirements
Admission Requirements: Georgian requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent for direct entry to this Diploma, or mature-student status for applicants without one. The programme's own prerequisite is Grade 12 English (ENG4C or ENG4U). Mature applicants aged 19 or older, non-secondary-school applicants, and home-schooled applicants can also be considered through equivalent courses, upgrading, GED completion, or equivalency testing, and applicants with prior post-secondary coursework or relevant life or learning experience may qualify through Georgian's Credit for Prior Learning process. The programme is CCHIM-accredited, and international students who take the fourth-semester work placement must first obtain a work permit. The programme page states no programme-specific language-test score; Georgian's institution-wide English Language Proficiency Requirement for diploma and certificate programmes applies instead — a minimum overall IELTS Academic score of 6.0, TOEFL iBT 79, or Duolingo English Test 110, from Georgian's international admissions page.
