Overview
The Diploma in Business Administration at Mount Saint Vincent University, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is designed to increase and enrich the knowledge acquired during the Certificate in Business Administration. The diploma requires successful completion of 10.0 units of coursework spanning business, economics, and quantitative-methods courses, together with business and arts/science electives. It can be completed online on a part-time or full-time basis. Admission requirements are the same as for the Bachelor of Business Administration, and students cannot transfer directly into the program without specific permission from the Registrar. The diploma may be taken as a standalone credential or concurrently with another Mount Saint Vincent University program, with the university's rules on multiple credentials applying when combined with a degree. Graduates who wish to continue their studies may apply to the Bachelor of Business Administration, completing a further 10.0 units to obtain the full degree.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission requirements for the Diploma in Business Administration are the same as for the Bachelor of Business Administration (sections 2.1.4 and 2.1.6 of the undergraduate calendar). Transfer or non-degree students must have a GPA of 2.0 over 3.0 units, and students cannot transfer into this program without specific permission from the Registrar.
