MA Pastoral Psychotherapy

A 54-credit-hour graduate program that prepares graduates for initial registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). The curriculum integrates psychotherapy theory and practice with a biblical worldview across four components: psychotherapy coursework, biblical and theological literacy, supervised clinical practicums, and spiritual formation. Admission requires a completed four-year undergraduate degree, in keeping with CRPO requirements, and applicants must provide a Canadian criminal record and vulnerable-sector check covering a continuous three-year period. The program is restricted to students residing in Canada and is not available to international applicants. Graduates are prepared for clinical practice that combines counselling and psychotherapy skills with theological grounding, suited to those seeking registration as a psychotherapist within a Christian, faith-integrated framework. Practicum placements give students supervised, hands-on clinical experience alongside their coursework ahead of professional registration.
