Kwantlen Polytechnic University's Associate of Arts Degree in Philosophy is a 60-credit undergraduate credential offered by the Faculty of Arts, built on KPU's Associate of Arts Degree framework. Within that framework, students complete a 15-credit concentration in Philosophy consisting of General Introduction to Philosophy (PHIL 1100), Introduction to Moral Philosophy (PHIL 1110), Introduction to Formal Logic (PHIL 1150), and two further PHIL courses at the 2000 level or higher. A minimum grade of C is required in every course counted toward the degree. Graduates receive the Associate of Arts Degree in Philosophy. The program is designated Open Intake, meaning applications are accepted on an ongoing basis rather than to a fixed number of seats, with Fall (September), Spring (January), and Summer (May) start dates. Its current curriculum took effect 1 September 2021.
