*Intakes for this program have been postponed* The Cloud Architecture and Security Program is designed to provide students with a deep understanding of cloud computing and security, equipping them with the essential knowledge and skills required for success in these critical domains. Students not only learn to proficiently design, implement, and manage resilient cloud computing environments but also gain expertise in enhancing data security, deploying robust measures, and safeguarding data confidentiality, integrity, and availability in cloud settings.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: In addition to the Melville School of Business's admission requirement — KPU's undergraduate English Proficiency Requirement — this Cloud Architecture and Security citation states its own entry condition: applicants must show, within the last 10 years from the term of admission, one of a recognized diploma in information technology, computer science or computer engineering; 30 credits of undergraduate-level coursework in one of those disciplines; or a minimum of two years of information technology, computer science or computer engineering work experience, with a detailed resume and professional references supplied for KPU to assess the work-experience route. That requirement is met by BC English Studies 12, English First Peoples 12 or Literary Studies 12 at a minimum grade of C+ (or IB English HL/SL at 3, or AP English Language/Literature at 2), or by one of IELTS Academic overall 6.5 with no band below 6.0, TOEFL iBT 88 with no sub-score below 20, PTE Academic 61, CAEL 70 with no sub-score below 60, or Duolingo English Test 110, each taken within two years of the admission term.
