Overview
This program leads to a Bachelor of Commerce, an undergraduate degree offered by the Faculty of Business Administration that can be completed on the St. John's campus, online, or through a combination of both, on a full-time or part-time basis. It comprises 40 courses (120 credit hours) over four years, beginning with a common first year, Business One, shared by all business undergraduates, followed by non-credit professional development seminars and further coursework in business and commerce. Study-abroad and other experiential learning opportunities are available within the program. Students are admitted after completing Business One with the required academic average, and a co-operative version of the degree, with mandatory work terms, is offered separately for students who want that structure. Requirements
Admission Requirements: Entry to the first year ("Business One") requires meeting Memorial's general admission requirements and being admissible into Mathematics 1000, 1005, 1090 or 109 A/B. Progression from Business One into the Bachelor of Commerce requires an overall average of at least 65% in the Business One courses. In addition to the 65% average in Business One courses, an overall average of at least 60% on the most recent 30 credit hours is required.
