BA/BS in Liberal Arts

Liberal Arts is a Bachelor of Arts offered by Nipissing University, available as a Minor, Major, Specialization, or Honours Specialization. The programme provides an interdisciplinary education spanning history, philosophy, literature, political science, and Indigenous studies, developing research and analytical skills, communication skills, philosophical and cultural inquiry, and leadership abilities. Students design a broad course of study across disciplines rather than following a single subject stream. The programme can be completed full-time or part-time and is eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit. Graduates pursue careers in public administration, communications, education, and non-profit and community organizations, or continue to graduate or professional study in a range of fields.
