Worship Arts Certificate (Two-Year)

The Worship Arts Certificate is a two-year certificate program at Summit Pacific College built to provide foundational training for involvement in worship services and music ministries in and through the local church. The program consists of 60 to 63 semester hours of required and elective courses. Coursework addresses Biblical teaching on worship, discipleship, and evangelism, and develops the spiritual gifts and skills needed to lead worship services in a variety of contexts. Students study the practical tasks of worship arts ministry, including sound and media, musicianship, and pastoral leadership. Graduates understand the role of Scripture and the Holy Spirit in worship and community outreach, and are prepared to serve in worship and music ministry roles within a local church setting.
