Bachelor of Individualized Studies

This program leads to a Bachelor of Individualized Studies, allowing students to build an individualized program that develops conceptual and analytical skills alongside extensive knowledge in a chosen discipline rather than following a standard departmental degree structure. Delivered in person over four years and 120 credits, it is offered across the Edmundston, Moncton, and Shippagan campuses. Applicants design their course of study within the university's existing offerings, subject to approval, making the program suited to students whose academic interests do not fit an existing degree program. It is open both to students entering directly from secondary school and to applicants with prior university credits or a gap from post-secondary study, and prepares graduates with a self-directed academic background tailored to their individual field of interest.
