Bachelor of Information Management

The Bachelor of Information Management (B.G.I.) is a four-year, 120-credit undergraduate degree offered by Universite de Moncton at its Shippagan campus. The program trains students to manage the human, ethical, competitive, managerial and technological factors involved in handling information within organizations. Coursework addresses the information lifecycle, the design and implementation of information strategies and policies, and the analysis of organizational information needs, combining foundational business and information-management courses with a general-education component across the 120 credits. Graduates are prepared for roles that involve organizing, safeguarding and making strategic use of information resources within businesses, government bodies and other organizations.
