Overview
The Commerce International specialization is part of the Bilingual Bachelor of Commerce / Baccalauréat bilingue en Administration des affaires, delivered through Campus Saint-Jean in partnership with the Alberta School of Business at the University of Alberta. It is Canada's first bilingual business degree and focuses on international business, examining how differences in language, culture, and law shape cross-border commerce. Students take business coursework alongside French-language study in small classes at Campus Saint-Jean, earning a bilingual credential from an internationally recognized business faculty. Admission is non-direct entry: applicants complete a one-year preprofessional program, including courses in economics, mathematics, statistics, English, and French, before applying to the Faculty of Business. Graduates typically pursue careers in international trade, government, consular affairs, market research, and business consulting, developing leadership, communication, and cross-cultural business skills along the way.
