This Bachelor of Arts program in Drama combines theatrical theory with practice-based study, emphasizing performer-created theatre in which students devise original work alongside interpreting existing scripts. Admission Requirements: Direct entry to the Faculty of Arts. Required Alberta high school courses: English Language Arts 30-1; one course from Fine Arts (e.g. Drama 30, Theatre Arts 35), Humanities, Languages other than English or Math/Sciences; and three additional courses from Humanities, Languages other than English or Math/Sciences. No audition or portfolio is required for admission and no minimum or competitive average is stated on the program page. Available as a BA major or as part of a BA Honors degree.
