Overview

This combined graduate program, offered jointly by the Alberta School of Business and the Department of Renewable Resources in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences, leads to both a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Forestry. Students complete both degrees in two years of full-time study, pairing the standard MBA curriculum with graduate coursework in environmental and conservation science and renewable resources. It is course based, delivered on campus, and professional experience is described as highly desired. Students in the first year of either the regular MBA or the regular MF program, as well as new entrants, may apply. Applicants must hold a BSc in Forestry or an allied discipline such as geography, biological sciences, agriculture, or environmental and conservation sciences.
