Safe and Effective Electrofishing Certificate

Admission Requirements: The Safe and Effective Electrofishing Certificate is only issued alongside a valid WorkSafeBC-approved First Aid Certificate with a CPR component; first aid training is not included in the course and may be completed before or after it. No academic grade, GPA or English proficiency score is published as a condition of entry, and enrolment is open to biologists, environmental technicians, consultants, First Nations members, fisheries students and industry participants without restriction to those groups. To be certified, students must attend both the classroom and field components, demonstrate competency during the field component, and score 80% or higher on the written exam.
