Overview

The Master of Health Administration (MHA) prepares students for the managerial and leadership responsibilities involved in health system administration, equipping them to anticipate, understand and address the challenges of a constantly evolving health system with a vision of proactive management, humanistic leadership and public service. The program is spread over a period of 24 months, and all students must complete degree requirements within four years of initial enrolment. Entry takes place in the fall term of each year, with classes starting in September. As part of the program, students complete required Harvard Modules in mathematics and communication with a minimum score of 75%. Applicants need a minimum of three years of full-time work experience alongside their prior academic credentials. The credential awarded is a Master of Health Administration (MHA).

Minimum GPA: 70.00 / %

Admission Requirements: Applicants require a minimum standing of B (70% overall average) and a minimum of three years of full-time work experience. Candidates must complete Harvard Modules in Math and Communication with a minimum score of 75%. Applicants whose mother tongue is neither English nor French must provide evidence of proficiency in one of Canada's official languages, through a TOEFL score of at least 100, an IELTS score of at least 7 in three of the four components and at least 6 in the fourth, proof of a prior degree completed within the last five years in an English-language university, or proof of recent prolonged residence and exercise of a profession in an English-speaking country.
