La Cité (Collège La Cité, also known historically as La Cité collégiale) is a public, French-language college of applied arts and technology in Ottawa, Ontario, founded in 1989.
It is the largest French-language college in Ontario and offers more than 140 programs — from Ontario College Certificates through bachelor's degrees — across business, health sciences, technology, skilled trades, arts and design, hospitality, legal services, and social sciences. The main campus is in Ottawa, with a satellite campus in Hawkesbury, the Minto Trades Centre at the Alphonse-Desjardins campus in Orléans, and a Toronto business office offering a small number of prograMs. La Cité serves roughly 5,000 full-time students, drawing on Franco-Ontarian communities as well as Canadian and international francophone applicants.
