Hons in Sociology

Sociology at the University of Toronto is a Bachelor of Arts Honours program available at all three campuses: St. George, through the Faculty of Arts & Science, Mississauga, and Scarborough. Depending on campus, it can be taken as a Major, Minor, or Specialist. The St. George campus includes a work-integrated learning option within the program. The subject is part of the university's Social Sciences area of study, described as examining people, cultures, and the systems that make up society in order to understand how societies function and change over time. Ontario applicants need an Ontario Secondary School Diploma with six courses at the 4U/M level, including English, with co-op components from Grade 12 courses excluded from admission consideration.
