Overview
The Accounting specialist is a four-year Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) offered jointly by the Rotman School of Management and the Faculty of Arts and Science at the University of Toronto St. George campus. It is one of three Rotman Commerce specialist options, alongside Finance and Economics and Management, admitted through OUAC code TAC. Students may take an optional work-integrated learning component alongside their coursework. The BCom pairs business and commerce study, including accounting, with a liberal arts foundation drawn from the Faculty of Arts and Science. Rotman Commerce enrols close to 3,300 students in total, about one-third of whom come from abroad, and the program runs career services such as resume coaching, interview preparation, and employer networking, alongside more than 30 student groups open to Commerce students.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with six subjects at the 4U/M level, including English (ENG4U/EAE4U) and Calculus & Vectors (MCV4U). The co-op component of Grade 12 courses is not used for admission. Admission is through the Faculty of Arts & Science under the Rotman Commerce program (OUAC code TAC), leading to a Bachelor of Commerce, Specialist.
