The BSc in Computing and Information Technology is a four-year, eight-semester programme at Philips University leading to the Bachelor of Information Technology. It totals 240 ECTS credits, is taught in English, and can be studied full-time or part-time.
The course trains students to work as computing professionals who understand the ethical weight of the choices they make in their jobs. Alongside the technical subjects, it develops the communication skills needed to present ideas, goals and products to colleagues and clients in a convincing way.
Applicants normally sit an interview with an admissions officer and one lecturer from the department, held in person, by phone or through Microsoft Teams, and those who study in English need to show an adequate level of the language.
