Philips University is a private institution in Cyprus that developed from Philips College, a higher education college with a long record of teaching business, computing and related subjects.
It receives no direct government funding, so tuition fees cover its running costs, and students are expected to settle their fees before they register for a term. Teaching is organised in departments for accounting and finance, business administration, computer science, language studies and communications, nursing, and social and behavioural sciences, together with law and education departments.
Undergraduate degrees run for four years and include accounting and finance, business studies, computing and information technology, public relations and communications, nursing and law. Postgraduate options include an MSc in corporate finance with corporate governance, an MBA taught in English or in Greek, an MSc in addiction counselling and a doctorate in business and management.
