Program details

Overview

Science and technology shape everyday decisions, and this MSc examines how science works and how scientific discoveries have affected societies, viewing scientific knowledge through historical, social and philosophical lenses. The programme is designed for holders of a science bachelor's degree seeking a broader view of how the natural sciences have developed alongside society and culture, covering science communication, science and society, science, technology and innovation, and the history and philosophy of science, building a grasp of how science carries social and philosophical implications, and of the forces driving technological change. Past graduates have gone on to work in private companies and public organisations as project managers and communication officers, as civil servants in public administration, as teachers in Danish high schools, and as science writers and editors.
