AA/AS in El-installatør

El-installatør is a two-year vocational academy programme for students with vocational training who want to become electrical engineers, project managers or self-employed contractors in the electrical and technical trades. Students learn to calculate, dimension and design electrical installations according to current laws, rules and standards. They also learn software tools for dimensioning, designing and managing projects and their own business. In the first ten weeks of the fourth semester students complete an internship at a relevant company, choosing the type of job they want to try, such as project manager or consultant. Students who want to start their own business can take an internship as an entrepreneur, with workshops and advice on launching a company. Students find their own placement, and EK's internship coordinator offers practical help.
