Overview

Produktionsteknolog is a two-year vocational academy programme for students who want to develop, design and manufacture physical products, from idea and prototype through to full production. Students work with materials selection, construction, strength calculations, 3D drawing and technical documentation. They also learn production planning, process optimisation and quality assurance. Teaching combines product development, production and project management, with interdisciplinary project work as a major component. Sustainability is a focus, so students learn to develop and produce products with attention to material use, resources and environmental impact. Cooperation with industry starts in the first semester, opening chances for study jobs, internships and employment after graduation.
