Overview

The electrical installer programme builds on vocational training and prepares graduates to become engineers, project managers or self-employed in the electrical and technical sector. Students learn to calculate, dimension and design electrical installations according to laws, rules and standards. They also learn software tools for dimensioning, project design and business management. The first ten weeks of the fourth semester are a placement as an electrical installer in a relevant company in Denmark or abroad, where students choose the type of work they want to try. Students may also take the placement as entrepreneurs, using the time to set up their own business with workshops on entrepreneurship. The programme lasts about two years.
