Overview

The financial controller programme prepares students for work in financial management, auditing, accounts, payroll and budgeting. The first semester covers bookkeeping and Excel, data and method, business law, business economics, communication and advisory work, and society economics. Later semesters add external accounting, controlling and auditing, plus tax and VAT law. The programme lasts about two years. The fourth semester includes a three-month placement in Denmark or abroad, usually at a private company, and it ends with an examination project. Students can study at EK Landemærket, EK Slotsarkaderne or online.
