— it helps other students.
This diploma readies graduates for a technician-level role in land surveying, or for moving on to further study, building the knowledge and skills the profession is currently short of. It also gives students a foundation for working toward registration as a Land Surveyor, covering duties such as supporting a survey team in the field or design office and liaising with the bodies that approve plans and enforce legal requirements.
Majoring in Land Surveying, the diploma trains graduates to act as an effective link between the surveying team and the design office, building the technical groundwork that the profession expects before a surveyor can progress toward full registration.
