Overview
The Postgraduate Diploma in Education gives applicants advanced knowledge, skills, attitudes and values for further study and professional work in education or training, and is also structured as a staged step toward FNU's Master of Education. Core units cover advanced educational research, advanced curriculum and instruction, educational leadership and independent supervised research.
The one-year, 120-credit-point diploma runs at the Nasinu, Lautoka and Labasa campuses. Entry requires a Bachelor's degree from FNU or another recognised university, normally with a GPA of 3.0, or an equivalent tertiary or professional qualification recognised by the FNU Senate; a mature-student path is open too, combining a prior-learning evaluation (APL) with an extra level-7 research course for candidates short of the standard GPA.
