Doctoral Programme in Electrical Engineering (4 yrs)

The Doctoral Programme in Electrical Engineering is a broad multidisciplinary doctoral programme providing graduates with the ability to work in a variety of fields ranging from the traditional electrical engineering and energy sector to biomedical engineering, robotics, nanotechnology, and further to communications engineering. The programme covers all disciplines of the School of Electrical Engineering and promotes multidisciplinary cooperation across Aalto University. The purpose of the programme is to educate competent doctors to serve society in the field of electrical engineering, doctors who will be working as highly qualified academic faculty, experts in research institutes and in industry, or as entrepreneurs.
