Animation, Master of Arts (Art and Design) (2 yrs)

The Animation major explores the theory and practice of animated film as an art form, and places students in a national and international animation community. Students learn different storytelling techniques, test them in practice, and develop their own artistic voice with support from dedicated professors and visiting teachers who bring current expertise. The two-year Master of Arts (Art and Design) gives motion-capture studios, a 360-degree cinema room, printers and LiDAR scanners. Graduates are prepared to work as animation specialists in entertainment and in other fields where animated content is used, such as crisis communication and educational material.
