Master's Programme in Geography, Master of Science (2 years)

The English-taught two-year Master of Science programme in geography develops understanding of geography as a complex discipline and a strong geographer identity. Graduates learn to respond to the multidimensional challenges of the time through geographical critical thinking and methodological expertise, and to locate reliable research data about the world. Students take part in research group activities and public discussion. Five model timetables focus on human geography, physical geography, geospatial methods for social and environmental research, conservation and sustainability, and teaching geography in schools. Themes can be combined. Learning outcomes include formulating research questions and applying qualitative and quantitative methods. Non-EU/EEA students pay EUR 13000 per academic year.
