Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering

The degree programme in Mechanical Engineering gives you in-depth knowledge of the operation and design of mechanical equipment, project work and management, manufacturing methods, production and materials. Together, these form a solid foundation for a mechanical engineering specialist. At SAMK you will learn to combine theory with practice. Studies progress from basic studies to professional studies and end with advanced professional studies and a thesis. They also provide a good basis for further studies. Field-specific practical training adds to your competence and helps you become a specialist in your field.  Your studies will include:- Basic studies (e.g. mathematics, physics, communication, project work)- Professional studies (e.g. technical drawing, 3D modelling, product development, materials engineering, mechanics, production control, project skills)- Elective studies to add to your competence according to your interests- Practical training and a bachelor’s thesis- The studies are implemented bilingually in a multicultural group of students in close cooperation with working life.
