The mechanical engineering programme covers machine structures, strength of materials, manufacturing and joining techniques, design software, production and project management. Students build a technical way of thinking and design and calculation skills that form a base for later specialisation. The page describes teaching as mainly in English, with Finnish-speaking teachers supporting students throughout, and theses and exams can be completed in either language. The four-year degree on the Pori campus leads to a Bachelor of Engineering worth 240 ECTS credits.
