Overview
The Licence Science politique at ICES is a state diploma awarded under a rectoral jury, with 180 ECTS credits over six semesters. It trains students to analyse political phenomena at local, regional, national and international levels, from political, legal, economic, geopolitical, philosophical and methodological angles.
Courses cover law, the history of political ideas, international relations, sociology, languages and economics. Students spend one semester abroad in the second year, and a placement of at least three weeks is advised in the first year. Pathways include the European School of Government, the Hispanic world, diplomacy and conflicts, and public affairs and policy.
