Overview

The Science and Technology of Software track (STL) trains specialists in software development with a solid base in programming languages and algorithmic methods. It suits students interested in both the fundamental and the technological aspects of computing. The track focuses on rigorous methods and tools for designing and developing complex software, and for modelling and analysing algorithmic problems from different application areas. The first year (M1) adds fundamentals shared with other computer science tracks and starts specialisation. Each semester is worth 30 ECTS, built from units of 6 ECTS, and the two semesters are validated independently. The track offers a research route and two professional routes, one classic and one run as an apprenticeship with the CFA INSTA.
