Overview
The M1 Bio-informatique et biostatistiques is the first year of a bioinformatics master that serves research and development needs in bioinformatics, biostatistics and biotechnology. It is interdisciplinary, drawing on biology, computing and mathematics, and it leads to the M2 AMI2B track.
Semester 1 combines catch-up units in computing, biology and mathematics with introductory courses in bioinformatics and biostatistics, and a research-training unit (TER) of 2 to 5.5 ECTS. Teaching is mainly in French, with some units in English.
