Overview

The RES track of the Master in Computer Science trains specialists in communication networks and their evolution, covering the techniques used in current networks. Its topics include network security, mobility, connected objects and data science for networks. It offers four routes: a classic route with the broadest choice of units, two apprenticeship routes (RES-ALT-SEC from M1 or M2, focused on network security, and RES-ALT-SOFT from M2, focused on containerising network software), and an international English route inside the DIGIT track. The first year (M1) has two independent semesters of 30 ECTS each, built from units of about 60 teaching hours worth 6 ECTS. The semester includes two mandatory RES units on network architecture and telecommunications, two specific units on network projects and network programming, and recommended electives from other tracks.
