BA/BS in Bauingenieurwesen

Civil engineers accompany construction from planning through completion, maintenance and renovation. Typical work involves buildings and their technical systems, tunnels, bridges, roads and waterways. The standard period of study is 6 semesters, worth 180 ECTS credits, with teaching in German. Courses begin in the winter semester. The programme is taught on campus at RWTH Aachen University in Aachen, in the usual full-time format. Graduates can move on to a consecutive master's degree or begin a professional career.
