MA/MS in Health Economics Double

This double degree in health economics is run jointly with Maastricht University. The first year takes place in Cologne and the second year at Maastricht, so the full course takes 4 semesters. Teaching is in English, and 120 ECTS are required across both years. The curriculum combines advanced research methods with interdisciplinary analytical training for healthcare questions. Students learn to design sustainable strategies for meeting healthcare demand despite limited resources, drawing on management, economics and innovation concepts. Graduates are awarded both master's degrees, one from each university. The double degree gives access to the expertise of two institutions and an interdisciplinary approach to the field. Each degree carries its own institution name, so graduates hold recognised qualifications from both. Students can plan the transition between the two universities in advance.
