MA/MS in Demography and Social Inequality, Double

This double degree links the University of Cologne with the University of Groningen. Students spend their first year in Cologne and the second year in Groningen, earning a qualification from each institution. Courses from both universities are merged into the standard master's structure and recognised through credit transfer. The programme trains students to analyse pressing social questions linked to demographic change and inequality. Participants receive quantitative training and learn data analysis tools, and they practise applying them to complex problems in a fast-changing world. Graduates are able to communicate research results to audiences outside academia and to policymakers. Completion yields two master's degrees, one from each partner university.
