Overview

The programme trains Romologists who can represent Roma community concerns to governmental and non-governmental organisations, and help institutions communicate effectively with local Roma communities. Students can specialise in Boyash or Romani language and culture. Courses use cooperative learning and group work, and fieldwork plus research methodology sit at the core of the curriculum so graduates can work with communities and other professionals. After one semester students choose which language to continue, aiming for a B2 language exam before graduation.
