Electrical Engineering is a doctoral programme of 180 ECTS credits at the University of Iceland. The qualification centres on research carried out by the candidate and written up as a dissertation. Admission requires an MS degree from the faculty, or an equivalent qualification. Further information on entry is held in the university's course catalogue, which the page links to for applicants who want detail. The page also points to the regulations on graduate studies, the academic calendar, the application process and timetables. Students can turn to the SENS student service, which keeps weekday opening hours and has offices in Reykjavik, and they can use wider university services such as the international division, incoming exchange arrangements and student and career counselling. Administration and staff pages for the programme are linked as well.
