This one-year taught master's follows the full software lifecycle, starting from computing fundamentals and software design and moving through implementation and testing. It is delivered in Athlone in partnership with an industry employer, and a three-month industrial placement forms part of the year. Places are awarded after a selective screening process each spring, which can include interview or tests. The award is Level 9, and successful completers can move into software engineering work with the partner company.
