BA/BS in Business Administration - Business Technology

AIU's Business Technology track combines core Business Administration training with a focus on applying technology to organizational decision-making, preparing graduates for roles that sit at the intersection of business strategy and data-driven analysis. The School of Business requires a minimum of 120 credits for the degree, divided across general education, school core requirements, major coursework, and a set of required program electives. General education at AIU is organized around seven institution-wide competencies, among them critical thinking, effective communication, ethical reasoning, and mathematical and scientific reasoning, which every undergraduate completes regardless of major before moving into business-technology-specific coursework. Career paths named for the major include AI research scientist and AI and analytics advisor, reflecting the program's emphasis on applying emerging technology within a business context.
