PhD in Business Administration

The PhD in Business Administration at the University of Macau is a research-oriented, four-year full-time programme taught in English. It emphasises building original theories and concepts across business fields, with study areas spanning accounting, analytics, economics, finance, tourism and hospitality, gaming and integrated resorts, general management and marketing. The programme combines coursework with a research and thesis component. By completion, students should be able to show command of the theory and methods behind business fields, design and carry out research that tests questions or hypotheses, and communicate their work in writing and in speech.
