MAPS Bachelor of Tourism Management

This MNQF Level 7 degree in tourism management is awarded by MAPS College and has MQA approval at that level. It is designed for people already in work, with evening classes, and it carries accreditation from the Chartered Management Institute, which means graduates leave with the college degree plus a CMI certificate in management and leadership at Level 5. The qualification gives learners a broad grounding in tourism management functions and the workplace skills employers expect. The course is aimed at people who work, or want to work, in tourism and hospitality management roles, and it prepares them for management level positions on completion. Applicants can enter with A Level or HSSC passes, a related MNQF Level 4 qualification, or a mix of age, school completion and work experience set out in the entry rules. Government funding is available to students who qualify and covers the full course fees. Students who complete the degree can progress to postgraduate qualifications.
