The MAPS Advanced Certificate in Accounting is an MNQF Level 4 qualification from MAPS College whose core units are drawn from the ACCA syllabus. Learners cover recording financial transactions, management information, maintaining financial records, and managing costs and finances, and then add two optional units.
The course takes 1 academic year and carries 120 credits, with groups starting in January and July. Classes run in the evening for people who are in work, and they can be attended at the Male Campus or online. The ACCA units are examined by computer-based tests that ACCA in the UK sets and marks, with MAPS College invigilating, while the optional units are examined in writing and may add assignments and presentations.
The certificate leads towards the college's Associate Degree and Bachelor's Degree and towards full ACCA membership, as well as to other international qualifications.
