MA/MS in INKLUZIVNO OBRAZOVANJE (2014)

This master's academic programme in inclusive education at the University of Montenegro prepares graduates to support children and pupils with special educational needs in ordinary classrooms. Students are expected to follow scientific and theoretical developments in inclusive education, developmental and educational psychology and related fields, and to apply didactic and methodological innovations in teaching practice. Graduates learn to recognise pupils with special needs, choose suitable methods and strategies, adapt activities and content to individual pupils, create individual education plans for children with developmental difficulties, and adjust programmes for gifted pupils. They also learn to help teachers monitor and evaluate pupils' achievement and to apply different methodological approaches when evaluating inclusive practice. The programme further develops research and communication skills, cooperation with parents, colleagues, school management and the local community, and the ability to analyse critically how social phenomena shape education policy.
