Overview

Occupational therapy trains students to help people carry out daily activities again, such as working, going to school and personal care. Students learn to advise, coach and guide clients towards solutions chosen together. The first two years rely on simulated complex practice situations, and the final two years take place in professional practice. Graduates hold an hbo bachelor's degree in occupational therapy. Applicants need an mbo, havo or vwo diploma. Prospective students can join a shadowing day to see a typical study day on the Nijmegen campus, and career options span care and welfare settings.
