BA/BS in Applied Mathematics

This three-year international bachelor's degree applies mathematics to understand and simulate how real-world systems behave, covering examples such as vehicle dynamics, energy networks and biological processes. Students build foundations in numerical mathematics and in the theory of systems and control, learn to build and examine abstract mathematical models of real-world problems, and combine mathematical proofs with practical tools such as simulation and programming. In the first year, students follow the same courses as those in the separate Mathematics programme before the curriculum moves toward applied topics.
