Overview

The programme builds deep insight into the molecular, cellular and systemic mechanisms behind human disease, and provides the tools to translate that knowledge into therapeutic strategies, combining fundamental, clinical and translational research within a small, close-knit cohort that gives each student personal guidance toward their own goals. Students can pursue a research topic they are drawn to and, optionally, choose a specialisation from among drugs and devices, systems medicine, metabolic diseases, infection and immunity, oncology, or neuroscience.
